I wrote this article in the month before the school shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this on-campus event, I was able to learn about and experience African American culture, as well as interact with and speak to participants.

I wrote this story about the blood drive on campus. I spoke to students who participated as well as the organizer from the donation center with which the school partners about how donating helps and why the blood drive is important, both to donators and those who receive the blood.

For this story, I spoke to several professors who travelled to China as part of an instructional program. I learned about the Chinese culture and how they were impacted by the experience.

For this story, I spoke to students who lobbied in Washington D.C. I was able to get their take on the importance of lobbying and why they care about certain issues.

To write this story about the new requirement for all new homes in California to have solar panels, I spoke to an engineering professor as well as several engineering students to find out how the mandate would affect Californians.
